Each material hub explains where it fits, where it falls short, what your printer needs, and when another material is the better call.

All filaments

PLA
PLA is the most common starting material for decorative prints, models, and prototypes.

PETG
PETG is a common choice for functional indoor parts: brackets, organizers, enclosures for small projects, and parts that need a little give rather than snapping.

ABS
ABS can produce tough, heat-resistant parts, but it is one of the more demanding desktop materials.

TPU
TPU makes parts that bend, grip, and absorb impact: phone cases, gaskets, feet, and bumpers.

Specialty materials
Specialty filaments solve specific problems, but they are not interchangeable families and each brings its own requirements.
Start from your printer and project.
The filament finder separates what you know from what still needs checking, and never suggests a purchase based on unknown fit.
