Creality Multifunction Enclosure (Small) vs VEVOR S0001 Tent
Creality's Small Multifunction Enclosure and VEVOR's S0001 tent compared. Pick VEVOR for a light and a larger tent, Creality for a same-brand tent.
On this page (12 sections)
Pick the VEVOR S0001 if your printer is one VEVOR names and you want a light included and the larger tent. Pick Creality's Small Multifunction Enclosure if you want a tent from your printer's own maker and can measure your printer against its size. Both are tent-style enclosures that go around an open-frame printer to keep out drafts and dust, and neither is a ventilation system. VEVOR's S0001 is 550 × 650 × 750 mm, and VEVOR documents it in detail, including vent holes for a fan you add yourself. In our records it fits the original Ender-3, the Ender-3 V2, the Ender-3 S1, the Ender-3 V3 SE, and the Ender-3 V3 KE, and VEVOR still asks you to measure first. Creality's Small is 48 × 60 × 72 cm with no axes labelled, and Creality describes it in a few lines. Our records cover two of the printers Creality names for it, the Ender-3 and Ender-3 V2.
Who this comparison is for
This page is for owners of open-frame bed-slinger printers who want a low-cost fabric tent to print warp-prone materials such as ABS or ASA, or to keep dust and drafts off the printer. We compare Creality's 3D Printer Multifunction Enclosure in the Small size and VEVOR's S0001 tent in the version without ventilation. Both makers sell other sizes and versions, which we mention below.
If you own a Bambu Lab A1 or A1 mini, this page isn't for you: Bambu Lab's FAQ says "We don't recommend enclosing the A1" and "We don't recommend enclosing the A1 mini." Neither tent maker names those printers on the pages we checked. If you're still deciding whether you need an enclosure at all, read our enclosure planning guide first. It covers electronics heat, fire safety, and ventilation in more depth. For more enclosures, see the printer enclosure shortlist.

How we compared them
This is a research-based comparison. Every detail below comes from Creality's store and VIP Mall pages and from VEVOR's product page and S0001 user manual, listed in the sources, and printer fit comes from our compatibility records, which are built from those pages. We haven't installed or printed inside either tent, so there are no temperature, noise, or fit measurements of ours here. Where a maker describes its own product, such as "keeps the printer safe from fire," we label it as the maker's claim.
Creality publishes far less than VEVOR for this tent. We checked Creality's store page and its VIP Mall page for the Small size, which carries a "Product Information" and a "Compatible Models" tab. Neither page's text names the cover material or frame. The VIP Mall's product images describe the cover as "Aluminum foil with flame retardant" with an "Iron pipe support" and a "Tight zipper head," and show a window. Neither page describes a light, vent, or cable openings. Where the table says "not published" or "none described," we mean neither Creality page gives it. Neither maker publishes a temperature reading inside the tent, a noise figure, or a heat limit for printer electronics, so there's no test table on this page.

Size and measuring your printer
VEVOR's S0001 is larger on every figure. Creality lists the Small as 48 × 60 × 72 cm and VEVOR lists the S0001 as 550 × 650 × 750 mm, so sorted smallest to largest, VEVOR's figures are 70 mm, 50 mm, and 30 mm bigger than Creality's.
The catch is which figure is which.
- Creality doesn't say which figure is width, depth, or height on either of its pages. Assume the smallest figure could be any side, and check your printer against all three.
- VEVOR labels the figures "L x W x H" in its specification table, which makes the height 750 mm. Further down the same page, though, VEVOR describes the tent as "21.6 inches tall, 25.6 inches wide, and 29.5 inches deep," which would make the 550 mm figure the height. Its manual gives "550*650*750mm" with no labels. We can't tell which is right, so check the shortest figure against your printer's height too.
Measure your printer with the spool holder, filament path, and cables in place, and on a bed slinger, with the bed at both ends of its travel. VEVOR asks you to "measure your printer before ordering to ensure compatibility," even for the printers it names.
Printer fit
This is where the two makers differ most in what they document.
- VEVOR S0001. VEVOR says the tent "easily accommodates Creality Ender 3 V3 SE/KE/Ender 3/Ender 3 Pro/Ender 3V2/Ender 3S1/Neo/Anycubic Elegoo, etc." In our compatibility records, it fits the original Ender-3, the Ender-3 V2, the Ender-3 S1, the Ender-3 V3 SE, and the Ender-3 V3 KE. VEVOR also names the Ender-3 Pro, the Neo, and Anycubic and Elegoo printers without naming exact models. Those are named by VEVOR, but they aren't in our printer records, so we make no fit claim for them.
- Creality Small. Creality's store page lists the Small size with no printer models. Its VIP Mall page for the Small size has a "Compatible Models" tab that lists "Ender-2, Ender-2 Pro,CP-01" and "Ender-3, Ender-3S, Ender-3 Pro, Ender-3 V2." Our compatibility records cover the Ender-3 and Ender-3 V2, the two of those in our printer list; the rest are named by Creality only. A product image on the same page gives a slightly different list, "Ender-3 seriesCP-01Ender-2CR-100." Check your printer against the stated size before you buy.
Neither maker lists the Ender-3 V3, the Ender-3 V3 Plus, or the Ender-3 V4 for these tents. We don't claim either fits those printers. That's "not listed," not a finding that they don't fit. If yours isn't named, measure it against each tent's size.
Materials, light, and access
VEVOR describes the S0001 in detail. The cover is "600D Oxford Cloth, Inner Composite Aluminum Film," on fiberglass tubes, which VEVOR says it uses "instead of standard metal pipes to ensure aging resistance and damage resistance for long-term use." It has a transparent window, an included LED light, a zipper, and "reserved holes for the power and data cables." The S0001 manual also warns, "This product contains a button cell or coin battery," and says to keep batteries "OUT OF REACH of CHILDREN."
Creality's store page describes the Multifunction Enclosure in five lines: "Thermal Insulation Printing at Constant Temperature," "Flame Retardant,Safe Printing," "Waterproof and Dustproof,Reduce Printing Noise," "Stable Support," and "Easy Installation." Its VIP Mall page adds "Good Heat Preservation Effect," "Flame Retardant,Rub Resistance," and "Removable." Neither page's text names the cover fabric or frame. The VIP Mall's product images call the material "Aluminum foil with flame retardant" and show an "Iron pipe support," a zipper, and a window. Neither page mentions a light or cable openings. Our catalog record says this variant has no LED or fan kit, which comes from the Amazon listing we link to, not from Creality.
Ventilation and heat
Neither tent comes with a fan in the versions compared here.
- VEVOR says the S0001 "has left ventilation holes for optional fan installations, so you can install ventilation components (not included)." The same listing also offers a "with Ventilation" option, so check the model and option you pick.
- Creality doesn't describe any vent or fan provision for the Small tent on the pages we checked.
VEVOR also says the enclosed structure "avoids smoke buildup and harmful particles from spreading" and "ensures clean air." That's VEVOR's claim, and it isn't how an enclosure works without extraction: a closed tent keeps emissions in around the printer. Plan to vent to the outdoors or to a suitable filter, as our enclosure planning guide explains.
Neither maker publishes a temperature limit for a printer's power supply or mainboard inside its tent. Follow your printer maker's guidance on enclosed operation before you zip it up.
Fire safety claims
Both makers use fire-safety language, and VEVOR goes further than we'd advise.
- Creality calls the fabric "Flame Retardant" and its store page says "Safe Printing."
- VEVOR says the inner film "withstands 600℃ to 800℃" and the cloth is "heat- and flame-resistant." It also says, "This design keeps the printer safe from fire, so you can print for a long time or leave it running while you're away."
Those are the makers' own claims, with no independent fire rating named on either page. We don't agree that any tent makes it safe to leave a printer running unattended. Don't treat either tent as protection from a printer fault.
What each maker says it's for
- Creality Small. Creality sells it for "Thermal Insulation Printing at Constant Temperature," and to keep out water and dust and "Reduce Printing Noise."
- VEVOR S0001. VEVOR says it "provides a constant temperature to help the consumables adhere well, reducing warping and cracking," and calls it "Ideal for printing with PLA, TPU, and ABS filaments." That's VEVOR's claim. Check your filament maker's guidance before printing PLA or other low-temperature materials enclosed; our enclosure planning guide covers when to open the doors.
Creality 3D Printer Multifunction Enclosure (Small, 48 x 60 x 72 cm, no LED or fan kit)
- Best for
- Ender-3 and Ender-3 V2 class bed-slingers (models Creality names for the Small size) when you want a low-cost draft and dust shield for ABS or ASA.
- Skip this if
- You need fume extraction, or your printer with its spool holder is larger than the stated size.
- Verified fit
- Creality Ender-3 (original); Creality Ender-3 V2 (stock configuration, per the manufacturer)
Specs, strengths, and limitations
- Maker notes
- Creality's store lists the Small size as 48cm*60cm*72cm without saying which figure is width, depth, or height. The Amazon listing gives 480*600*720 mm. Creality's VIP product page lists the Small size as item number 4008030005, net weight 2.45 kg. Creality's VIP Mall page for the Small size lists, under 'Compatible Models': 'Ender-2, Ender-2 Pro,CP-01 / Ender-3, Ender-3S, Ender-3 Pro, Ender-3 V2'. Its product image lists 'Ender-3 seriesCP-01Ender-2CR-100'. Only the Ender-3 and Ender-3 V2 are in our printer list. Measure your printer, including spool holder and cables, against the stated size. Creality calls the cover 'flame retardant'. That is the maker's description of the fabric, not an independent fire rating. VIP Mall product images: 'Craft: Aluminum foil with flame retardant'; 'Iron pipe support' with 3-way corner connectors; zipper; window.
- Manufacturer states the enclosure is for thermal insulation and printing at a constant temperature.
- Manufacturer states it is waterproof and dustproof and reduces printing noise.
- Creality's store also offers Medium, Large, and Enclosure Plus sizes, so you can match a tent to your printer's size.
- Not a ventilation solution. A fabric tent holds fumes and particles in but does not remove them, and this variant has no fan kit. Plan ventilation separately.
- Follow your printer maker's guidance on enclosed operation, including heat around the power supply and mainboard. Creality publishes no heat or electronics limits for this tent.
- PLA and PETG may need the tent opened while printing, because they need strong part cooling.
VEVOR 3D Printer Enclosure (Oxford cloth tent with LED) (Model S0001, 550 x 650 x 750 mm, without ventilation)
- Best for
- Ender-3-class bed slingers when you want a dust and draft cover with a built-in light.
- Skip this if
- You print mostly PLA or PETG, or you need extraction to the outdoors.
- Verified fit
- Creality Ender-3 (original); Creality Ender-3 V3 SE; Creality Ender-3 V3 KE; Creality Ender-3 V2; Creality Ender-3 S1 (stock configuration, per the manufacturer)
Specs, strengths, and limitations
- Outer size
- 550 × 650 × 750 mm
- Maker notes
- VEVOR spec: Item Model Number S0001; 600D Oxford cloth with an inner composite aluminum film; net weight 1.6 kg; Product Dimensions (L x W x H) 21.6 x 25.6 x 29.5 in / 550 x 650 x 750 mm. Here L is recorded as width and W as depth. VEVOR states the tent 'accommodates Creality Ender 3 V3 SE/KE/Ender 3/Ender 3 Pro/Ender 3V2/Ender 3S1/Neo/Anycubic Elegoo, etc.' and asks buyers to measure the printer before ordering. The Ender 3 V2 and S1 have compatibility records; the Ender 3 Pro and Neo are not in our printer list. Includes an LED light and reserved openings for power and data cables, per VEVOR. The same listing offers a 'with Ventilation' option; this record is the version without ventilation. VEVOR's listing calls the materials 'flame-retardant' and says the inner film 'withstands 600℃ to 800℃'. Those are the seller's claims, not an independent fire rating. VEVOR's description calls it '21.6 inches tall, 25.6 inches wide, and 29.5 inches deep', which conflicts with the L x W x H table (750 mm high). The S0001 manual gives 550*650*750mm unlabeled, so treat the height axis as uncertain and measure.
- Manufacturer states the tent keeps a constant temperature to reduce warping and cracking.
- Manufacturer states it includes an LED light, a transparent window, and reserved cable openings.
- Manufacturer names the Ender-3, Ender-3 V3 SE, and Ender-3 V3 KE as printers it accommodates.
- Not a ventilation solution. This variant has no ventilation kit, and a closed tent holds fumes and particles in. Plan ventilation separately.
- Follow your printer maker's guidance on enclosed operation and electronics heat. VEVOR gives no temperature limits for the printer's power supply or mainboard inside the tent.
- VEVOR's 'flame-retardant' wording is the seller's claim, not an independent fire rating. Don't leave prints unattended because of it.
Verdict: which should you buy?

- You want an included LED light, a window, and reserved cable holes.
- You want the larger of the two tents, and you plan to add your own fan through its vent holes.
Safety and limits
How this page was checked
Every size, weight, material, feature, and printer name above comes from the Creality and VEVOR pages and the VEVOR manual in the sources section, retrieved on 2026-10-11, and printer fit comes from our compatibility records. We haven't installed or printed inside either tent for this page, so nothing here is a measured result of ours. VEVOR's page labels the S0001's size "L x W x H" in its table but calls it "21.6 inches tall" in its description, so we've reported both. Creality's store page names no printers for the Small size; its VIP Mall page lists printers in a "Compatible Models" tab, and our compatibility records for the Ender-3 and Ender-3 V2 come from that tab. The Creality cover material, frame, and zipper details come from product images on the VIP Mall page. The "no LED or fan kit" detail comes from the Amazon listing we link to, not from Creality.
