Start with your printer, not the enclosure. For an original Ender-3, Ender-3 V2, Ender-3 S1, Ender-3 V3 SE, or V3 KE, VEVOR's S0001 tent names your printer, though VEVOR still asks you to measure first. If you have a Prusa MINI or MK4 and can print parts, the DELACK kit is built for it. Prusa's own XL enclosure is for the Original Prusa XL only. If you own a Bambu Lab A1 or A1 mini, don't enclose it: Bambu Lab's own FAQ says it doesn't recommend enclosing either printer. For an Ender-3 V3, no enclosure on this page has a maker-documented fit yet. If your printer isn't named anywhere here, Creality's Small tent and VEVOR's Large S0002 are size-based tents: measure first. The fit rule: buy where the maker names your exact model, or measure. If you mostly print PLA or PETG, you may not need an enclosure at all.
Quick picks

| Original Prusa XL | Prusa's own XL enclosure | Connects to the XL's mainboard, which controls the HEPA filter and LED strip |
| Large printer not named here | VEVOR S0002 Large | A size-based tent with a stated 700 × 750 × 900 mm interior: measure first |
Picks are matched to documented needs, not scored.
Who this guide is for
This page is for owners of open-frame printers who want to print warp-prone materials such as ABS or ASA, or who want to keep out dust, drafts, and some noise. If you're still deciding whether you need an enclosure at all, read our enclosure planning guide first. It covers electronics heat, fire safety, and ventilation in more depth than a buying guide can. If ABS vs ASA is the real question, our ABS vs ASA guide compares them.
If your printer's maker already builds it with an enclosure, you don't need anything on this page. Follow that maker's guidance on doors and lids instead.

How we chose
A product made the list only if it met these criteria:
- Maker-stated dimensions. Each record carries the size the maker publishes for that exact variant, so you can measure against it. Where the maker doesn't say which figure is width, depth, or height, we say so.
- An exact variant. Each record ties one Amazon listing to one model number and configuration, such as VEVOR's S0001 "without ventilation" rather than the ventilated version sold under a similar name.
- Documented printer fit, or an honest "measure it." We list a printer as a fit only where the enclosure maker names that exact model on its own page and we hold a compatibility record for it. Models a maker names without a record from us, such as the Prusa "MK3 series" or the Ender-3 Pro, are named by the maker, with no fit claim from us. Everything else is treated as a size-based tent.
Fit depends on your printer, so start from the table below.
Which enclosure fits your printer?
| Your printer | Enclosures whose maker names it |
|---|---|
| Bambu Lab A1, A1 Combo, A1 mini | None: Bambu Lab says it doesn't recommend enclosing the A1 or A1 mini |
| Prusa MINI, Prusa MK4 | DELACK kit (you print the connector parts yourself) |
| Creality Ender-3 (original), Ender-3 V2, Ender-3 S1, Ender-3 V3 SE, Ender-3 V3 KE | VEVOR S0001 (VEVOR asks you to measure first); for the original Ender-3 and Ender-3 V2, also the Creality Small tent |
| Creality Ender-3 V3 | None with documented fit yet: measure for a size-based tent |
| Original Prusa XL | Original Prusa XL Enclosure |
| Anything else | Size-based tents: Creality Small or VEVOR S0002, after measuring |
Prusa MINI or MK4: DELACK enclosure kit
3D Sourcerer's DELACK is a kit of panels sized around an IKEA LACK table, with an LED light and 5 V power brick included. The maker states it is "designed for the Bambu Lab A1 Mini, Prusa MK4, Prusa Mini, and Prusa MK3 series". We've recorded fit for the original Prusa MINI and the Prusa MK4. The MINI+ isn't named separately, and the maker doesn't name the MK4S. "MK3 series" names a family rather than an exact model, so the MK3 series is named by the maker, with no fit claim from us, and that includes the MK3S. Bambu Lab says it doesn't recommend enclosing the A1 mini, so we don't list it for that printer. The big caveat: the 3D-printed connector parts are not included. You print them from the maker's files, so you need a working printer first. No fan or filter ships with it either. The back panel has a cutout for an optional 120 mm fan, and the maker offers printable mounts for a HEPA filter or a 4-inch exhaust duct.
3D Sourcerer DELACK 3D Printer Enclosure Kit with LED Light (DELACK_V1 kit, 550 x 486 x 450 mm, printed parts not included)
- Best for
- Prusa MINI and MK4 owners who want a compact clear box they can customize and print parts for.
- Skip this if
- You don't have a working printer to print the parts, or you want a ready-to-use enclosure.
- Verified fit
- Prusa Research MINI / MINI+ (MINI); Prusa Research MK4 (stock configuration, per the manufacturer)
Specs, strengths, and limitations
- Maker notes
- 3D Sourcerer SKU DELACK_V1. The maker states the size as '550MM x 486MM x 450MM (21.7" x 19.1" x 17.7")', with a length matching an IKEA LACK table. It does not say which figure is width, depth, or height. The maker states it is 'designed for the Bambu Lab A1 Mini, Prusa MK4, Prusa Mini, and Prusa MK3 series'. The MK4 has a compatibility record. 'MK3 series' names a family, not an exact model, so no MK3S record is made; the MK4S is not named. KIT ONLY: 3D-printed parts are not included and must be printed from the maker's downloadable files. An LED light with a 5V power brick is included. The back panel has a cutout for an optional 120 mm fan. The maker offers printable mounts for a HEPA filter or a 4-inch exhaust duct, which are sold or printed separately. Bambu Lab's A1 mini FAQ says: 'We don't recommend enclosing the A1 mini.' We therefore do not list this kit for the A1 mini, even though 3D Sourcerer names it.
- Manufacturer states it is designed for the Bambu Lab A1 Mini, Prusa MK4, Prusa Mini and Prusa MK3 series.
- Manufacturer states an LED light with a 5V power brick is included.
- Manufacturer provides printable mounts for a 120 mm fan, a HEPA filter, or a 4-inch exhaust duct.
- Not for the Bambu Lab A1 mini: Bambu Lab says it doesn't recommend enclosing the A1 mini.
- Not a ventilation solution as shipped. No fan or filter is included; ventilation needs the optional fan plus a duct or filter you add. Plan ventilation separately.
- Follow your printer maker's guidance on enclosed operation and electronics heat. 3D Sourcerer publishes no heat limits for printer electronics inside.
- You must print the connector parts yourself, and the size suits small printers only.
Skip it if you want a ready-to-use enclosure, or you don't have a printer free to print the parts.
Ender-3, Ender-3 V2, Ender-3 S1, V3 SE, or V3 KE: VEVOR S0001 tent
VEVOR says the S0001 "accommodates Creality Ender 3 V3 SE/KE/Ender 3/Ender 3 Pro/Ender 3V2/Ender 3S1/Neo" and several other bed slingers, and asks you to measure first, even for the printers it names. Its stated size is 550 × 650 × 750 mm (L × W × H). This variant has no ventilation, though VEVOR sells a separate ventilated option under a similar name, so check the model number on the listing. It includes an LED and reserved cable openings. Our records cover the original Ender-3, Ender-3 V2, Ender-3 S1, V3 SE, and V3 KE. VEVOR also names the Ender-3 Pro and Neo: named by the maker, no fit claim from us, so measure if you own one.
VEVOR 3D Printer Enclosure (Oxford cloth tent with LED) (Model S0001, 550 x 650 x 750 mm, without ventilation)
- Best for
- Ender-3-class bed slingers when you want a dust and draft cover with a built-in light.
- Skip this if
- You print mostly PLA or PETG, or you need extraction to the outdoors.
- Verified fit
- Creality Ender-3 (original); Creality Ender-3 V3 SE; Creality Ender-3 V3 KE; Creality Ender-3 V2; Creality Ender-3 S1 (stock configuration, per the manufacturer)
Specs, strengths, and limitations
- Outer size
- 550 × 650 × 750 mm
- Maker notes
- VEVOR spec: Item Model Number S0001; 600D Oxford cloth with an inner composite aluminum film; net weight 1.6 kg; Product Dimensions (L x W x H) 21.6 x 25.6 x 29.5 in / 550 x 650 x 750 mm. Here L is recorded as width and W as depth. VEVOR states the tent 'accommodates Creality Ender 3 V3 SE/KE/Ender 3/Ender 3 Pro/Ender 3V2/Ender 3S1/Neo/Anycubic Elegoo, etc.' and asks buyers to measure the printer before ordering. The Ender 3 V2 and S1 have compatibility records; the Ender 3 Pro and Neo are not in our printer list. Includes an LED light and reserved openings for power and data cables, per VEVOR. The same listing offers a 'with Ventilation' option; this record is the version without ventilation. VEVOR's listing calls the materials 'flame-retardant' and says the inner film 'withstands 600℃ to 800℃'. Those are the seller's claims, not an independent fire rating. VEVOR's description calls it '21.6 inches tall, 25.6 inches wide, and 29.5 inches deep', which conflicts with the L x W x H table (750 mm high). The S0001 manual gives 550*650*750mm unlabeled, so treat the height axis as uncertain and measure.
- Manufacturer states the tent keeps a constant temperature to reduce warping and cracking.
- Manufacturer states it includes an LED light, a transparent window, and reserved cable openings.
- Manufacturer names the Ender-3, Ender-3 V3 SE, and Ender-3 V3 KE as printers it accommodates.
- Not a ventilation solution. This variant has no ventilation kit, and a closed tent holds fumes and particles in. Plan ventilation separately.
- Follow your printer maker's guidance on enclosed operation and electronics heat. VEVOR gives no temperature limits for the printer's power supply or mainboard inside the tent.
- VEVOR's 'flame-retardant' wording is the seller's claim, not an independent fire rating. Don't leave prints unattended because of it.
Skip it if you print mostly PLA or PETG, or you need extraction to the outdoors.
Original Prusa XL: Prusa's own enclosure
This is the only maker-integrated option here. Prusa says the enclosure connects directly to the XL's mainboard, which controls filtration through a HEPA filter and the LED strip. A temperature sensor is included. Prusa describes it as a passive enclosure, with "heating provided only by the 3D printer's heatbed", and gives installed dimensions of 700 mm (w) × 900 mm (h) × 720 mm (d) and a weight of 15.7 kg. Prusa says the filter helps reduce odors and the spread of ultrafine particles, which is not the same as removing them, so still ventilate the room. It ships as a kit to assemble. Prusa's page names the Original Prusa XL and doesn't mention the XL+ revision.
Prusa Research Original Prusa XL Enclosure (Kit (shipped disassembled), with HEPA filtration, temperature sensor, and LED strip)
- Best for
- Original Prusa XL owners who print ASA, ABS, PC, or blends and want a maker-integrated enclosure with filtration.
- Skip this if
- You own any printer other than the Prusa XL, or you print only PLA and PETG.
- Verified fit
- Prusa Research XL (Original Prusa XL) (stock configuration, per the manufacturer)
Specs, strengths, and limitations
- Outer size
- 700 × 720 × 900 mm
- Maker notes
- Prusa: 'Dimensions when installed on the printer: 700 mm (w) × 900 mm (h) × 720 mm (d)'; weight 15.7 kg; 'Enclosure type: Passive, heating provided only by the 3D printer's heatbed.' Prusa: the basic package contains frame parts, transparent side panels, top and bottom panels, a bellows cover set, mounting material, a printer frame brace, PCCF replacement parts for the XL printer, a temperature sensor, an LED strip, and documentation. It is shipped disassembled as a kit. Prusa: the enclosure connects directly to the XL mainboard, and the XL controls filtration through a HEPA filter (Prusa states 99.9% efficiency). Prusa's enclosure page names the 'Original Prusa XL', so only that revision is recorded. Prusa's XL to XL+ upgrade page (checked 2026-10-09) says an existing Original XL Enclosure stays 'fully compatible' after the upgrade but 'won't reach 50°C like the new one'; Prusa sells a separate Enclosure for Prusa XL+.
- Manufacturer states it is designed for and integrates with the Original Prusa XL, connecting to its mainboard for filtration and LED control.
- Manufacturer states its Advanced Filtration System with a HEPA filter helps reduce odors and the spread of ultrafine particles.
- Manufacturer states the magnetic bellows cover folds open for better airflow when printing PLA.
- Still not a substitute for room ventilation. Prusa says the HEPA filter helps reduce odors and ultrafine particles, not that it removes all emissions, so keep the room ventilated.
- Follow Prusa's guidance for the XL on enclosed operation and electronics heat. Prusa says heating is passive, from the heatbed only, and that the bellows cover folds open for better airflow because PLA performs worse in high temperatures.
- It is a kit you assemble yourself, and the listing names only the Original Prusa XL. For a new XL+, Prusa sells a separate Enclosure for Prusa XL+; Prusa says this one stays compatible after an XL to XL+ upgrade but won't reach 50 °C.
Skip it if you own any printer other than the Original Prusa XL, or you print only PLA and PETG.
Size-based tent: Creality Multifunction Enclosure (Small)
Creality's VIP Mall page names the Ender-2, Ender-2 Pro, CP-01, Ender-3, Ender-3S, Ender-3 Pro, and Ender-3 V2 for the Small size. Our compatibility records cover the two of those in our printer list, the Ender-3 and Ender-3 V2. Fit is still by tent size, so measure first. Creality lists the size as 48 cm × 60 cm × 72 cm without saying which figure is width, depth, or height. Assume the smallest figure is the tightest and check all three against your printer. The Amazon listing for this variant mentions no LED or fan kit. Creality's store also offers Medium, Large, and Enclosure Plus sizes, so if your printer is too big, a larger size may fit.
Creality 3D Printer Multifunction Enclosure (Small, 48 x 60 x 72 cm, no LED or fan kit)
- Best for
- Ender-3 and Ender-3 V2 class bed-slingers (models Creality names for the Small size) when you want a low-cost draft and dust shield for ABS or ASA.
- Skip this if
- You need fume extraction, or your printer with its spool holder is larger than the stated size.
- Verified fit
- Creality Ender-3 (original); Creality Ender-3 V2 (stock configuration, per the manufacturer)
Specs, strengths, and limitations
- Maker notes
- Creality's store lists the Small size as 48cm*60cm*72cm without saying which figure is width, depth, or height. The Amazon listing gives 480*600*720 mm. Creality's VIP product page lists the Small size as item number 4008030005, net weight 2.45 kg. Creality's VIP Mall page for the Small size lists, under 'Compatible Models': 'Ender-2, Ender-2 Pro,CP-01 / Ender-3, Ender-3S, Ender-3 Pro, Ender-3 V2'. Its product image lists 'Ender-3 seriesCP-01Ender-2CR-100'. Only the Ender-3 and Ender-3 V2 are in our printer list. Measure your printer, including spool holder and cables, against the stated size. Creality calls the cover 'flame retardant'. That is the maker's description of the fabric, not an independent fire rating. VIP Mall product images: 'Craft: Aluminum foil with flame retardant'; 'Iron pipe support' with 3-way corner connectors; zipper; window.
- Manufacturer states the enclosure is for thermal insulation and printing at a constant temperature.
- Manufacturer states it is waterproof and dustproof and reduces printing noise.
- Creality's store also offers Medium, Large, and Enclosure Plus sizes, so you can match a tent to your printer's size.
- Not a ventilation solution. A fabric tent holds fumes and particles in but does not remove them, and this variant has no fan kit. Plan ventilation separately.
- Follow your printer maker's guidance on enclosed operation, including heat around the power supply and mainboard. Creality publishes no heat or electronics limits for this tent.
- PLA and PETG may need the tent opened while printing, because they need strong part cooling.
Skip it if you need fume extraction, or your printer with its spool holder doesn't clear every stated dimension.
Size-based tent: VEVOR S0002 Large
For large bed slingers, VEVOR's S0002 states that "the interior measures 27.5 inches by 29.5 inches by 35.4 inches", or 700 × 750 × 900 mm. VEVOR names several large Creality printers and the ELEGOO Neptune 4 Plus, but we hold no fit record for any of them, so fit here is by size only. It has an LED light, a transparent window, and a zipper, and no ventilation in this variant. It also takes real floor or bench space.
VEVOR 3D Printer Enclosure, Large (Oxford cloth tent with LED) (Model S0002, 700 x 750 x 900 mm, without ventilation)
- Best for
- Large-format bed slingers such as 300 mm-class Creality or Elegoo machines when you need a big draft and dust shield.
- Skip this if
- You have limited floor or desk space, or you need active extraction.
Specs, strengths, and limitations
- Outer size
- 700 × 750 × 900 mm
- Maker notes
- VEVOR spec: Item Model Number S0002; 600D Oxford cloth with an inner composite aluminum film; net weight 2 kg; Product Dimensions (L x W x H) 27.5 x 29.5 x 35.4 in / 700 x 750 x 900 mm. Here L is recorded as width and W as depth. VEVOR also says 'the interior measures 27.5 inches by 29.5 inches by 35.4 inches.' VEVOR says the tent 'easily accommodates Ender3 Max Neo/Ender3 S1 Plus/Ender 5/ Pro/Plus/Neptune 4 Plus/CR-10/10S PRO10 Mini/CR-X, etc.' and a heading reads 'Fits Ender3 Max Neo, Ender3 S1 Plus, Ender5, CR-10/10S PRO, Neptune 4 Plus, CR X'. None of these models are in our printer list, so no supported printers are set. VEVOR asks buyers to measure the printer before ordering. Only the S0001 page says the tent 'keeps the printer safe from fire, so you can … leave it running while you're away'; the S0002 page says its flame-resistant material helps by 'reducing the risk of fire'. Includes an LED light, a transparent window, and reserved cable openings, per VEVOR. VEVOR's 'flame-retardant' and '600℃ to 800℃' wording is the seller's claim, not an independent fire rating.
- Manufacturer states the inside measures 700 x 750 x 900 mm, enough for large bed slingers and their spools.
- Manufacturer states it holds a steady temperature to reduce warping and clogging.
- Manufacturer states it includes a built-in LED light, a transparent window, and a zipper for access.
- Not a ventilation solution. This variant has no ventilation kit and holds fumes in. Plan ventilation separately.
- Follow your printer maker's guidance on enclosed operation and electronics heat. VEVOR gives no heat limits for the printer's electronics.
- Fit is by size only: none of the models VEVOR names are verified in our printer list.
Skip it if you're short on space, or you need active extraction.
What should you check before buying an enclosure?
- Exact model and revision. "Ender-3" covers several different machines, and the Prusa XL and XL+ are separate revisions. We list fit only where the enclosure maker names that exact model on its own page. Unknown fit is not fit.
- Measure the working envelope, not the printer's spec sheet. Measure width, depth, and height with the spool holder, filament path, and cables in place. On a bed slinger, measure with the bed at both ends of its travel. Then compare against the maker's stated size, leaving room to reach in.
- Watch for unlabeled dimensions. Creality (48 × 60 × 72 cm) and 3D Sourcerer (550 × 486 × 450 mm) don't say which figure is height. Check every orientation.
- Printer maker guidance comes first. Some makers advise against enclosing specific printers; Bambu Lab, for example, says it doesn't recommend enclosing the A1 or A1 mini. Check your printer maker's FAQ before buying any enclosure.
- Material systems. Check where your multi-material unit would sit inside the enclosure.
- Electronics location. If your printer's power supply or mainboard would end up inside, check your printer maker's guidance before you close it up.
- Variant names. VEVOR sells near-identical tents with and without ventilation. Match the model number (S0001, S0002) to the one you want.
Do you need an enclosure at all?
- You print PLA or PETG. Bambu Lab's filament guide says PLA has no mandatory chamber-temperature requirement, and enclosing PLA can make cooling harder. Our enclosure planning guide explains when to open the doors.
- Corners lifting? An enclosure is only one fix. Work through warping troubleshooting and first-layer adhesion first.
- Choosing between ABS and ASA? Start with ABS vs ASA. If you're moving up from PLA, see PLA vs ASA.
- Want the short checklist? The enclosures hub lists what to check with your printer maker before buying anything.
- You're also planning other upgrades. Browse all buying guides.
Safety
Enclosing a printer changes how heat and air move around it. Plan for four things before you print ABS or ASA inside any of these:
- Ventilation comes first. An enclosure contains emissions; it doesn't remove them. Put the printer in a room you can ventilate, away from where people sleep. If you add an exhaust, vent it outdoors, not into another room. Prusa says even its own HEPA filter helps reduce particles; it doesn't claim to remove all emissions.
- Electronics heat. Follow your printer maker's guidance on enclosed operation. None of the third-party makers here publishes a temperature limit for the electronics inside their enclosure.
- Fire safety. "Flame-retardant" fabric is a seller's claim, not an independent fire rating. Don't leave a print running unattended because the printer is in a tent.
- PLA and PETG. These materials need strong part cooling, and Prusa says its XL enclosure's bellows cover folds open for better airflow when printing PLA. Expect to open any enclosure for low-temperature materials, and follow your filament maker's guidance.
How this page was checked
This is a research-based shortlist. We have not installed or printed inside any of these enclosures, so there are no temperature readings, noise measurements, or "we found" claims here. Every dimension, weight, feature, and printer name above comes from the maker pages listed in the sources section, retrieved on 2026-10-06. The DELACK and VEVOR S0001 pages were checked again on 2026-10-07, when we added fit records for the Prusa MK4 (DELACK) and the Ender-3 V2 and Ender-3 S1 (VEVOR S0001). Makers change variants and descriptions, so check the current page for your exact model number before you buy. Read more about our process in our editorial standards and affiliate disclosure.
