VEVOR S0001 vs S0002 3D Printer Enclosure: Which Tent Size?
VEVOR's S0001 and larger S0002 printer tents compared on VEVOR's own data: size, printer fit, materials, venting, heat claims, and assembly.
On this page (12 sections)
Pick the VEVOR S0001 if you own an original Ender-3, Ender-3 V2, Ender-3 S1, Ender-3 V3 SE, or Ender-3 V3 KE, the printers it fits in our records. Pick the S0002 if your printer is larger, or doesn't clear the S0001 with its spool and cables in place, and you've measured it yourself. These are the same VEVOR tent in two sizes: 600D Oxford cloth with an inner composite aluminum film on fiberglass poles, an LED light, a transparent window, a zipper, cable openings, and left-side vent holes for a fan you buy separately. The S0001 is 550 × 650 × 750 mm and the S0002 is 700 × 750 × 900 mm. VEVOR names larger printers for the S0002, such as the Ender-3 Max Neo and Neptune 4 Plus, but none of those are in our printer list, so we have no fit record for it.
Who this comparison is for
This page is for owners of open-frame printers who've settled on a VEVOR fabric tent and need to pick a size. Both are sold on one VEVOR listing, with options labelled "without Ventilation(21.6x25.6x29.5")" for the S0001 and "without Ventilation(27.5x29.5x35.4")" for the S0002. The same listing also offers "with Ventilation" versions, which this page doesn't cover. If you're still deciding whether you need an enclosure at all, start with our enclosure planning guide. To compare the S0001 against a Creality tent, see Creality Multifunction Enclosure vs VEVOR S0001. For more options, see the printer enclosure shortlist.

How we compared them
This is a research-based comparison. Every detail comes from VEVOR's two product pages and the English section of each model's user manual, listed in the sources. Printer fit comes from our compatibility records, which are built from VEVOR's S0001 page. We haven't installed or printed inside either tent, so there are no temperature, noise, or fit measurements of ours here. VEVOR doesn't publish an inside temperature, a noise figure, or a heat limit for printer electronics for either model, so there's no test table on this page. Where VEVOR describes its own product, such as "reducing the risk of fire," we label it as VEVOR's claim.

Size and measuring your printer
The S0002 is larger on every figure. Sorted smallest to largest, its figures are 150 mm, 100 mm, and 150 mm bigger than the S0001's. Multiplying out VEVOR's figures, that's about 0.47 m³ of space against about 0.27 m³, so the S0002 has roughly 75% more room. It also takes a bigger footprint on your floor or bench.
The catch is which figure is which.
- S0001. VEVOR's specification table labels the figures "L x W x H", which makes the height 750 mm. Further down the same page, VEVOR says the tent is "21.6 inches tall, 25.6 inches wide, and 29.5 inches deep," which would make the 550 mm figure the height. The manual gives "550*650*750mm" with no labels. We can't tell which is right, so check your printer's height against the shortest figure too.
- S0002. The specification table labels the figures "L x W x H", which makes the height 900 mm, and the page says "the interior measures 27.5 inches by 29.5 inches by 35.4 inches." We found no conflicting description on the S0002 page. The manual gives "700*750*900mm" with no labels. Only the S0002 page calls its figures interior measurements; the S0001 page doesn't say whether its figures are inside or outside.
Measure your printer with the spool holder, filament path, and cables in place, and on a bed slinger, with the bed at both ends of its travel. Leave room to reach in through the zipper. VEVOR asks you to "measure your printer before ordering to ensure compatibility" on both pages, even for the printers it names.
Printer fit
- S0001. VEVOR says it "easily accommodates Creality Ender 3 V3 SE/KE/Ender 3/Ender 3 Pro/Ender 3V2/Ender 3S1/Neo/Anycubic Elegoo, etc." In our compatibility records it fits the Ender-3, Ender-3 V2, Ender-3 S1, Ender-3 V3 SE, and Ender-3 V3 KE. VEVOR also names the Ender-3 Pro, the "Neo," and Anycubic and Elegoo printers without exact models. Those aren't in our printer records, so we make no fit claim for them.
- S0002. VEVOR says it "easily accommodates Ender3 Max Neo/Ender3 S1 Plus/Ender 5/ Pro/Plus/Neptune 4 Plus/CR-10/10S PRO10 Mini/CR-X, etc.", and a heading on the same page reads "Fits Ender3 Max Neo, Ender3 S1 Plus, Ender5, CR-10/10S PRO, Neptune 4 Plus, CR X." None of those printers are in our printer list, so we hold no fit record for the S0002. Note that the Ender-3 S1 Plus is a different printer from the Ender-3 S1. If you're considering the S0002, measure your printer against 700 × 750 × 900 mm on every side before you order.
VEVOR doesn't name the Ender-3 V3, Ender-3 V3 Plus, or K1 Max for either tent, so we don't claim either fits them. That's "not listed," not a finding that they don't fit. If your printer isn't named, measure it.
Materials and build
VEVOR lists the same material for both: "600D Oxford Cloth, Inner Composite Aluminum Film." Both pages say the frame uses fiberglass tubes, "instead of standard metal pipes" for "aging resistance and damage resistance" on the S0001 and "instead of conventional metal pipes" for "resistance to aging and wear" on the S0002, and both manuals list the material as "Oxford+Fiberglass pipe." The S0002 is 0.4 kg heavier, at 2 kg against 1.6 kg.
Both have a transparent window, a zipper, and openings for the power and data cables. VEVOR describes the S0001's light as "an LED light" and, further down the page, "built-in LED lights," and the S0002's as a "built-in LED light." Neither page gives a brightness, power source, or switch for the light. Both manuals carry the same warning: "This product contains a button cell or coin battery," with the instruction to keep batteries "OUT OF REACH of CHILDREN." Neither manual says which part holds the battery; the parts lists label each part only by number, count, and size.
Ventilation and filtration
Neither version includes a fan or a filter. Both pages say the tent "has left ventilation holes for optional fan installations, so you can install ventilation components (not included) to further reduce the smoke and dust buildup." VEVOR doesn't give the size of the vent holes or name a fan that fits them, so check before you buy one.
Both pages also say the enclosed structure "avoids smoke buildup" and keeps "harmful particles from spreading" (the S0002 says it "stops harmful particles from spreading"), and that the tent "ensures clean air" (S0001) or "maintains clean air" (S0002). That's VEVOR's claim. Without extraction, a closed tent keeps emissions in around the printer rather than removing them. Plan to vent to the outdoors or to a suitable filter, as our enclosure planning guide explains.
Heat and fire claims
VEVOR makes similar claims for both, with one difference worth knowing.
- Both. The inner composite aluminum film "withstands 600℃ to 800℃," and the cloth is described as flame-retardant and heat-resistant.
- S0001 only. The S0001 page says, "This design keeps the printer safe from fire, so you can print for a long time or leave it running while you're away." We found no such sentence on the S0002 page, which says its flame-resistant material helps by "reducing the risk of fire."
These are VEVOR's own claims, with no independent fire rating named on either page or in either manual. We don't agree that a tent makes it safe to leave a printer running unattended. Neither page publishes a temperature limit for a printer's power supply or mainboard inside the tent, so follow your printer maker's guidance on enclosed operation.
On filaments, the S0001 page calls the tent "Ideal for printing with PLA, TPU, and ABS filaments." The S0002 page says "Suitable for printing with PLA, TPU, and ABS filaments" and, elsewhere, "PLA, ABS, PETG, and more, as long as you can control the temperature." Check your filament maker's guidance before printing PLA or other low-temperature materials in a closed tent; our warping guide covers when an enclosure helps.
Assembly
The two pages and the two manuals don't fully agree on tools.
- Product pages. The S0001 page says "No additional tools are required for installation," and the S0002 page says "No extra tools are needed for assembly."
- Manuals. Both manuals' general assembly precautions say, "If possible, you can use power tools to make assembly easier," and ask you to assemble it on a clean, soft underlay such as carpet or cardboard. The assembly steps themselves are diagrams with part numbers, seven steps in each manual. Each parts list also includes two "M3*12" screws and two "M3" nuts, and the manuals don't say whether those need a tool.
We've gone with the product pages on tools, since the manual line reads as a general precaution rather than a step. Both manuals also say "The product is not stable during installation," so don't move it until it's fully assembled.
VEVOR 3D Printer Enclosure (Oxford cloth tent with LED) (Model S0001, 550 x 650 x 750 mm, without ventilation)
- Best for
- Ender-3-class bed slingers when you want a dust and draft cover with a built-in light.
- Skip this if
- You print mostly PLA or PETG, or you need extraction to the outdoors.
- Verified fit
- Creality Ender-3 (original); Creality Ender-3 V3 SE; Creality Ender-3 V3 KE; Creality Ender-3 V2; Creality Ender-3 S1 (stock configuration, per the manufacturer)
Specs, strengths, and limitations
- Outer size
- 550 × 650 × 750 mm
- Maker notes
- VEVOR spec: Item Model Number S0001; 600D Oxford cloth with an inner composite aluminum film; net weight 1.6 kg; Product Dimensions (L x W x H) 21.6 x 25.6 x 29.5 in / 550 x 650 x 750 mm. Here L is recorded as width and W as depth. VEVOR states the tent 'accommodates Creality Ender 3 V3 SE/KE/Ender 3/Ender 3 Pro/Ender 3V2/Ender 3S1/Neo/Anycubic Elegoo, etc.' and asks buyers to measure the printer before ordering. The Ender 3 V2 and S1 have compatibility records; the Ender 3 Pro and Neo are not in our printer list. Includes an LED light and reserved openings for power and data cables, per VEVOR. The same listing offers a 'with Ventilation' option; this record is the version without ventilation. VEVOR's listing calls the materials 'flame-retardant' and says the inner film 'withstands 600℃ to 800℃'. Those are the seller's claims, not an independent fire rating. VEVOR's description calls it '21.6 inches tall, 25.6 inches wide, and 29.5 inches deep', which conflicts with the L x W x H table (750 mm high). The S0001 manual gives 550*650*750mm unlabeled, so treat the height axis as uncertain and measure.
- Manufacturer states the tent keeps a constant temperature to reduce warping and cracking.
- Manufacturer states it includes an LED light, a transparent window, and reserved cable openings.
- Manufacturer names the Ender-3, Ender-3 V3 SE, and Ender-3 V3 KE as printers it accommodates.
- Not a ventilation solution. This variant has no ventilation kit, and a closed tent holds fumes and particles in. Plan ventilation separately.
- Follow your printer maker's guidance on enclosed operation and electronics heat. VEVOR gives no temperature limits for the printer's power supply or mainboard inside the tent.
- VEVOR's 'flame-retardant' wording is the seller's claim, not an independent fire rating. Don't leave prints unattended because of it.
VEVOR 3D Printer Enclosure, Large (Oxford cloth tent with LED) (Model S0002, 700 x 750 x 900 mm, without ventilation)
- Best for
- Large-format bed slingers such as 300 mm-class Creality or Elegoo machines when you need a big draft and dust shield.
- Skip this if
- You have limited floor or desk space, or you need active extraction.
Specs, strengths, and limitations
- Outer size
- 700 × 750 × 900 mm
- Maker notes
- VEVOR spec: Item Model Number S0002; 600D Oxford cloth with an inner composite aluminum film; net weight 2 kg; Product Dimensions (L x W x H) 27.5 x 29.5 x 35.4 in / 700 x 750 x 900 mm. Here L is recorded as width and W as depth. VEVOR also says 'the interior measures 27.5 inches by 29.5 inches by 35.4 inches.' VEVOR says the tent 'easily accommodates Ender3 Max Neo/Ender3 S1 Plus/Ender 5/ Pro/Plus/Neptune 4 Plus/CR-10/10S PRO10 Mini/CR-X, etc.' and a heading reads 'Fits Ender3 Max Neo, Ender3 S1 Plus, Ender5, CR-10/10S PRO, Neptune 4 Plus, CR X'. None of these models are in our printer list, so no supported printers are set. VEVOR asks buyers to measure the printer before ordering. Only the S0001 page says the tent 'keeps the printer safe from fire, so you can … leave it running while you're away'; the S0002 page says its flame-resistant material helps by 'reducing the risk of fire'. Includes an LED light, a transparent window, and reserved cable openings, per VEVOR. VEVOR's 'flame-retardant' and '600℃ to 800℃' wording is the seller's claim, not an independent fire rating.
- Manufacturer states the inside measures 700 x 750 x 900 mm, enough for large bed slingers and their spools.
- Manufacturer states it holds a steady temperature to reduce warping and clogging.
- Manufacturer states it includes a built-in LED light, a transparent window, and a zipper for access.
- Not a ventilation solution. This variant has no ventilation kit and holds fumes in. Plan ventilation separately.
- Follow your printer maker's guidance on enclosed operation and electronics heat. VEVOR gives no heat limits for the printer's electronics.
- Fit is by size only: none of the models VEVOR names are verified in our printer list.
Verdict: which should you buy?
Pick by size, because VEVOR documents no other hardware difference. The materials, frame, light, window, cable openings, and vent provision are the same on both, and neither includes a fan. The S0001 is the only one with printer fit in our records, for five Ender-3-family printers, so if you own one of those, it's the documented choice. The S0002 is the bigger tent for larger printers, but fit is by your own measurement only. Whichever you buy, add your own ventilation and don't treat VEVOR's fire claims as a reason to leave a print unattended.
Choose the VEVOR S0001 if…
- You own an original Ender-3, Ender-3 V2, Ender-3 S1, Ender-3 V3 SE, or Ender-3 V3 KE, the printers it fits in our records.
- Your printer, with its spool and cables, clears 550 × 650 × 750 mm on every side, including the shortest figure as the height.
- You have limited desk or floor space and want the lighter tent, at 1.6 kg.
Choose the VEVOR S0002 if…
- Your printer is a larger machine VEVOR names for it, such as an Ender-3 Max Neo, Ender-3 S1 Plus, Ender-5 series, CR-10 series, or Neptune 4 Plus, and you've measured it against 700 × 750 × 900 mm. We have no fit record for any of these.
- Your printer doesn't clear the S0001 once the spool holder, cables, and bed travel are counted.
- You have the floor or bench space for a tent 700 × 750 mm across.

How this page was checked
Every size, weight, material, feature, and printer name above comes from VEVOR's two product pages and the English sections of the S0001 and S0002 user manuals in the sources section, retrieved on 2026-10-14. We haven't installed or printed inside either tent for this page, so nothing here is a measured result of ours. Printer fit comes from our compatibility records; the S0002 has none. VEVOR's S0001 page labels its size "L x W x H" in its table but calls it "21.6 inches tall" in its description, so we've reported both. The product pages say no tools are needed, while both manuals mention power tools as optional, and we've reported both. We didn't use customer reviews, the AI-generated review summary on VEVOR's pages, or product images. Read more in our editorial standards and affiliate disclosure.
