The short answer

Buy a build plate by printer first and surface second: a plate only fits if its maker names your exact printer, because sizes, magnets, and alignment pins differ even within one brand. On a Bambu Lab A1, P1 or X1 printer, start with BIQU's CryoGrip Pro Glacier in the 256 mm size, the fine-texture plate with the widest listed material range. BIQU sells separate A1 mini and H2-series sizes. On the H2D, H2S, H2C, P2S, and X1E, BIQU's plates aren't covered by automatic plate detection, so you may need to turn it off. Original Ender-3, Ender-3 V2, and Ender-3 S1 owners can choose Creality's double-sided PEI sheet. K1 Max and Ender-3 V3 Plus owners replacing a worn stock plate can choose Creality's official textured PEI. Prusa MK4S, MK4, and CORE One owners can choose BIQU's Glacier plate, and MINI owners get Prusa's own sheet. Smooth surfaces give glossy, flat bottoms and suit PLA. Textured surfaces release more easily and hide marks.

Who this guide is for

This page is for anyone replacing a worn, scratched, or damaged print surface, or adding a second surface type, on one of the printers named below. If prints aren't sticking, the plate may not be the problem. Work through first-layer adhesion troubleshooting before you buy. If you're unsure whether you want a smooth or textured surface, our textured vs smooth build surfaces guide explains the trade-offs.

We have no verified plates yet for the Creality Ender-3 V4 or the Prusa CORE One L. For those printers, follow your maker's own parts list.

Which build plate fits your printer?

This table is built only from our compatibility records. A plate is listed for a printer only when the plate's maker names that exact model. A missing printer means the maker doesn't name it, not that it's been shown not to fit.

How we chose

A plate made the list only if it met all of these criteria:

  • Documented fit for an exact model. Each printer named here appears in the plate maker's compatibility list or product title, and is recorded in our compatibility data with its source. Where a maker names printers we hold no record for, such as the Bambu Lab X2D and H2D Pro, Creality's K1 SE and Ender-3 S1 Pro, or Prusa's MK3 and CORE One+, we mention them as named by the maker, with no fit claim from us. Where a record covers only one revision, as with BIQU's Prusa plate and the MK3S (not the MK3S+), we say so. Where an Amazon title names more printers than the maker does, we follow the maker.
  • An exact variant we could verify. Each catalog record ties one Amazon listing to one manufacturer product, size, texture, and color. Where the Amazon listing and the maker disagree, for example on BIQU's plate sizes, we use the maker's information and say so.
  • A stated surface type from the maker. Every plate here has its surface named by its maker: smooth PEI, textured PEI, epoxy resin, or BIQU's polymer coating.

The plates fit different printers, and the right surface depends on what you print.

What surface types does each maker offer?

Makers use different names for similar-sounding surfaces, so compare each plate against its own maker's guidance.

  • Prusa sells smooth PEI sheets (glossy, flat print bottoms; Prusa calls smooth PEI the best solution for PLA) and powder-coated sheets. Its satin powder-coated sheet sits between smooth and textured in adhesion and finish, according to Prusa. Its textured powder-coated sheet releases prints once cool and hides most tool marks. Prusa warns that acetone damages its powder-coated PEI, and that PETG can bond too strongly to smooth PEI.
  • Creality offers smooth PEI, textured PEI, and epoxy resin plates in its official range, plus a double-sided sheet with smooth PEI on one side and a textured surface on the other. Its store pages name the surface but give little or no material, temperature, or care guidance, so you'll rely on general practice and your printer's documentation.
  • BIQU makes the CryoGrip Pro, a double-sided magnetic spring steel plate with a multi-layer polymer coating. Glacier is the fine-texture version and Frostbite is the coarse-texture version, sold in blue and, for some sizes, matte orange. BIQU's selling point is lower bed temperatures. Its Bambu store page recommends 45–55 °C for PLA and 60–75 °C for PETG. The BIGTREETECH wiki for the line (BIGTREETECH is BIQU's parent company) says PLA adheres at 45 °C and PETG at 60 °C on Glacier, and at 30 °C and 50 °C on Frostbite. The wiki lists Glacier for PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PA, PC, nylon, and glass-fiber composites, but says Frostbite is meant only for PLA, PETG, and ABS. It says to clean Glacier with alcohol or soapy water and Frostbite with soapy water, and warns that the coating is softer than textured PEI and can scratch from scraper use.

Our textured vs smooth build surfaces guide covers the general trade-offs.

For Bambu Lab A1, P1P, P1S, X1-Carbon, X1E, P2S

BIQU names the A1, P1, and X1 printers for its 256 mm CryoGrip Pro size, including the X1E, which the BIGTREETECH wiki also lists for this size. BIQU also names the X2D: named by the maker, no fit claim from us. On the X1E, BIQU includes AR code stickers for X1C/X1E plate recognition, but BIGTREETECH doesn't list the X1E among the printers whose QR plate detection works with these plates, so turn off Build Plate Detection if it blocks a print. BIQU's sizes are labeled by print area, and the Amazon titles give 257 × 257 mm, so we don't quote a sheet size. BIQU's store page doesn't name the P2S exactly, but the BIGTREETECH wiki's CryoGrip Pro table, which covers both the Glacier and Frostbite series, names the P2S for the 256 mm size, so our records list it for all three 256 mm listings. BIGTREETECH says CryoGrip plates don't yet support automatic build plate detection on the P2S, so you may need to turn off Build Plate Detection in the printer settings. BIQU sells separate sizes for the A1 mini and the H2 series, covered below.

BIQU Panda CryoGrip Pro Glacier (fine texture)

Glacier is BIQU's fine-texture version, and the BIGTREETECH wiki lists the widest material range for it, including engineering filaments. BIQU recommends PLA at 45–55 °C and PETG at 60–75 °C, lower than many plates, and says the coating can be restored by wiping with water, soap, or alcohol. BIQU also states the honeycomb handle stays cool at a 100 °C bed temperature and includes AR code stickers for X1-Carbon plate recognition. The main caveat comes from BIQU itself: it advises against heavy use of silk PLA on the Glacier surface, to avoid surface marks.

Does not fit
Not the A1 mini, H2D/H2S or H2C/A2L size: BIQU sells separate plates for those.
Maker notes
Surface: double-sided, magnetic 7-layer spring steel with a porous polymer coating; Glacier is the fine-texture version (BIQU). BIQU names X2D, P1S, P1P, X1C, X1E and A1 for this size, and its size label also says 'P2'. The BIGTREETECH Wiki's CryoGrip Pro table, which covers both the Glacier and Frostbite series, names the A1, P1P, P1S, P2S, X1C, X1E and X2D for the 256 mm size. The X2D is not in the printers list. BIQU gives the size as 256 × 256 mm; the Amazon title says 257 × 257 mm. The manufacturer's figure is used. BIQU's description says it includes AR code stickers for the X1C/X1E series, but the BIGTREETECH Wiki documents recognition only on the X1-Carbon; treat detection on the X1E as unsupported. Separate BIQU sizes exist for A1 mini (180 × 180 mm), H2D/H2S (350 × 325 mm) and H2C/A2L (330 × 320 mm); this ASIN is not those.
Strengths
  • Manufacturer recommends low bed temperatures: PLA at 45–55 °C and PETG at 60–75 °C.
  • Manufacturer states the honeycomb handle stays cool even at a 100 °C bed temperature.
  • Manufacturer states the coating can be restored by wiping with water, soap or alcohol.
Limitations
  • BIQU advises against heavy use of silk PLA on the Glacier surface, to avoid surface marks.
  • Size discrepancy: BIQU says 256 × 256 mm while the Amazon title says 257 × 257 mm.
  • No automatic build plate detection on the P2S yet, per BIGTREETECH.

BIQU Panda CryoGrip Pro Frostbite (coarse texture)

Frostbite uses the same plate and coating as Glacier, with a coarser texture that shows on the bottom of every print. BIQU's 45–55 °C PLA range sits under its Glacier description; for Frostbite, the BIGTREETECH wiki gives PLA at 30 °C and PETG at 50 °C. BIGTREETECH also says Frostbite is meant only for PLA, PETG, and ABS, and gives soapy water as its cleaning method. On the X1-Carbon, BIGTREETECH says current Frostbite plates use Bambu Lab's Low Temperature Plate QR code. It suits owners who like a matte, textured underside and mostly print PLA and PETG.

Maker notes
Surface: double-sided, magnetic 7-layer spring steel with a porous polymer coating; Frostbite is the coarse-texture version (BIQU). The BIGTREETECH Wiki gives Frostbite PLA at 30 °C and PETG at 50 °C; BIQU's 45–55 °C (PLA) and 60–75 °C (PETG) figures sit under its Glacier description. The Amazon listing gives PLA at 30–50 °C. A Matte Orange Frostbite (separate ASIN) also exists; this record is the listing without 'Matte Orange' in the title.
Strengths
  • The BIGTREETECH Wiki gives low bed temperatures for Frostbite: PLA at 30 °C and PETG at 50 °C.
  • Manufacturer states the surface is scratch resistant and self-recovering.
  • On the X1-Carbon, the BIGTREETECH Wiki says current Frostbite plates are adapted to Bambu's Low Temperature Plate QR code for recognition.
Limitations
  • The coarse texture shows on the bottom face of prints.
  • Size discrepancy: BIQU says 256 × 256 mm while the Amazon title says 257 × 257 mm.
  • No automatic build plate detection on the P2S yet, per BIGTREETECH.
  • BIGTREETECH Wiki says the coating is softer than textured PEI and may be more susceptible to scratching.

BIQU Panda CryoGrip Pro Frostbite, matte orange (coarse texture)

This is the same Frostbite surface in BIQU's matte orange color, and the BIGTREETECH wiki names the A1, P1P, P1S, P2S, X1-Carbon, and X1E for this size. The same Frostbite limits apply: PLA, PETG, and ABS only, and soapy water for cleaning. P2S owners should expect to turn off automatic Build Plate Detection for now, because BIGTREETECH says P2S support is still in development, and X1E owners may need to do the same. It suits owners who want a cold-printing textured plate for PLA and PETG.

BIQU

Specs, strengths, and limitations
Does not fit
Not the A1 mini, H2D/H2S or H2C/A2L size.; BIGTREETECH Wiki: not intended for materials other than PLA, PETG and ABS.
Maker notes
Surface: double-sided, 7-layer composite coating on high-magnetic spring steel; Frostbite is the coarse-texture version (BIQU). BIGTREETECH Wiki: Frostbite is optimized for PLA, PETG and ABS only and is not intended for other materials. Cleaning: soapy water (BIGTREETECH Wiki's method for Frostbite; its general CryoGrip Pro residue note says alcohol or soapy water). The Amazon listings for this line also say not to use alcohol. BIQU labels this size option "256mm*256mm (For Bambulab X2D,P1,P2,X1,A1)"; the BIGTREETECH Wiki lists these figures as print area, not sheet size, so no plate dimensions are recorded. The Amazon title gives 257 × 257 mm. The BIGTREETECH Wiki names the A1, P1P, P1S, P2S, X1C, X1E and X2D for this size; the X2D is not in the printers list. Matte orange is a color option of Frostbite; the BIGTREETECH Wiki lists it for the Bambu Lab P/X/A series.
Strengths
  • BIGTREETECH Wiki states PLA adheres at 30 °C and PETG at 50 °C on Frostbite.
  • Manufacturer states the coarse texture leaves a more defined textured bottom finish than Glacier.
  • BIQU's store page, whose description is written for Glacier, says a wipe 'with water, soap, or alcohol restores full adhesion' on its self-recovering coating.
Limitations
  • Frostbite is for PLA, PETG and ABS only, per the BIGTREETECH Wiki.
  • No automatic build plate detection on the P2S yet, per BIGTREETECH.
  • BIGTREETECH Wiki says the coating is softer than textured PEI and can scratch from scraper use.

For Bambu Lab A1 mini

BIQU sells a separate A1 mini size, labeled 180 × 180 mm, which the BIGTREETECH wiki lists as print area rather than sheet size. The Amazon titles give 184 × 184 mm, so we don't record a plate dimension.

BIQU CryoGrip Pro Glacier (A1 mini size)

This is the fine-texture Glacier in the A1 mini size. The BIGTREETECH wiki says PLA adheres at 45 °C and PETG at 60 °C on Glacier, and lists a broad material range. BIQU says the coating can be restored by wiping with water, soap, or alcohol. Two caveats come from the maker: BIQU advises against heavy use of silk PLA on Glacier, and BIGTREETECH says the coating is softer than textured PEI and can scratch from scraper use. It suits A1 mini owners who want lower-temperature printing on a fine-texture plate.

BIGTREETECH Wiki lists Glacier for PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PA, PC, nylon and glass-fiber composites. Cleaning: alcohol or soapy water (BIGTREETECH Wiki). BIQU labels this size option "180mm*180mm (For Bambulab A1 mini)"; the BIGTREETECH Wiki lists these figures as print area, not sheet size, so no plate dimensions are recorded. The Amazon title gives 184 × 184 mm.
Strengths
  • BIGTREETECH Wiki states PLA adheres at 45 °C and PETG at 60 °C on Glacier, lower than typical PEI settings.
  • Manufacturer states the honeycomb handle stays cool even at a 100 °C bed temperature.
  • Manufacturer states the coating can be restored by wiping with water, soap or alcohol.
Limitations
  • BIQU advises against heavy use of silk PLA on Glacier, to avoid (non-damaging) surface marks.
  • BIGTREETECH Wiki says the coating is softer than textured PEI and can scratch from scraper use.

BIQU CryoGrip Pro Frostbite (A1 mini size)

This is the coarse-texture Frostbite in the A1 mini size. The BIGTREETECH wiki says PLA adheres at 30 °C and PETG at 50 °C on Frostbite, the lowest bed temperatures on this page. The trade-off is a narrower material range: BIGTREETECH says Frostbite is meant only for PLA, PETG, and ABS, and gives soapy water as its cleaning method. It suits A1 mini owners who print mostly PLA and PETG and want a textured finish.

BIQU labels this size option "180mm*180mm (For Bambulab A1 mini)"; the BIGTREETECH Wiki lists these figures as print area, not sheet size, so no plate dimensions are recorded. The Amazon title gives 184 × 184 mm.
  • BIGTREETECH Wiki gives soapy water as Frostbite's cleaning method; alcohol appears only in its general CryoGrip Pro residue note.
  • BIGTREETECH Wiki says the coating is softer than textured PEI and can scratch from scraper use.

For Bambu Lab H2D and H2S

BIQU names the H2D and H2S for this size, and the BIGTREETECH wiki lists the H2S too. BIQU also names the H2D Pro: named by the maker, no fit claim from us. BIQU labels the size 350 × 325 mm, while the BIGTREETECH wiki gives the H2D print area as 350 × 320 mm, and the Amazon titles give 355 × 346 mm, so we don't record a plate dimension. The bigger caveat is plate detection. BIGTREETECH says CryoGrip plates don't yet support automatic build plate detection on H2-series printers, and suggests turning off Build Plate Detection in the printer settings if it blocks a print.

BIQU CryoGrip Pro Glacier (H2D/H2S size)

Glacier is the better fit if you use an H2D or H2S for a mix of everyday and engineering filaments. The BIGTREETECH wiki lists PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PA, PC, nylon, and glass-fiber composites for Glacier, with PLA adhering at 45 °C and PETG at 60 °C. BIQU says the honeycomb handle stays cool at a 100 °C bed temperature. BIQU still advises against heavy silk PLA use on Glacier, and the coating can scratch from scraper use.

BIQU CryoGrip Pro Frostbite (H2D/H2S size)

Frostbite suits H2D and H2S owners printing mostly PLA and PETG who want the lowest bed temperatures. For Bambu Lab H2C and A2L

BIQU sells one size for the H2C and A2L, labeled 330 × 320 mm.

BIQU CryoGrip Pro Glacier (H2C/A2L size)

BIQU's store title and size option name both the H2C and the A2L. The BIGTREETECH wiki's size table lists only the H2C for this size, so the H2C fit is confirmed in both of BIQU's sources, while the A2L fit rests on BIQU's store alone. BIGTREETECH says CryoGrip plates don't support automatic plate detection on H2-series printers, which includes the H2C, and it doesn't say either way for the A2L. Otherwise this is the standard Glacier surface, with PLA adhering at 45 °C and PETG at 60 °C according to the wiki, and the same silk PLA and scratching caveats. The Amazon listing's brand field reads BIGTREETECH, BIQU's parent company.

For Creality Ender-3 (original), Ender-3 V2, and Ender-3 S1

BIQU describes its plate as high-magnetic spring steel, while Creality calls its sheet a flexible steel plate and doesn't say spring steel or magnetic. Neither maker says a magnetic base is included. If your bed doesn't already have a magnetic surface, you'll need a magnetic base as well. Creality sells one separately for the Ender-3. Both makers name the original Ender-3 and the Ender-3 V2. Creality also names the Ender-3 S1 for its sheet, but BIQU doesn't name the S1 for its plate. Both makers name other Ender models too, such as the Ender-3 Pro, Ender-3S, and Ender-3 S1 Pro: named by the maker, no fit claim from us. Neither names the Ender-3 V3 series or V4, even where the Amazon titles do.

Creality Double-sided Printing Platform (235 × 235 mm)

Creality's own page lists the Ender-3, Ender-3 V2, and Ender-3 S1 in its application list and gives a 235 × 235 mm size. Creality's VIP Mall listing adds that to fit the Ender-3 S1 or S1 Pro, you should "remove the two positioning screws on the hotbed first." Creality describes one smooth PEI side for flat model bottoms and one textured side for adhesion without warping, and calls the sheet thin and light with easy model removal. It suits Ender-3, Ender-3 V2, or Ender-3 S1 owners who want an official two-sided sheet. Creality's pages give no temperature limits or material list, and Creality's VIP Mall listing gives a 1.2 mm thickness in its title and product images.

Maker notes
Surface: one smooth PEI side and one textured-sticker side on a flexible steel plate (Creality store and VIP Mall); Creality doesn't say spring steel or magnetic. Creality application list: Ender-3, Ender-3 Pro, Ender-3S, Ender-3 V2, Ender-5, Ender-5S, Ender-5 Pro, Ender-3 S1, Ender-3 S1 Pro. The Ender-3, Ender-3 V2 and Ender-3 S1 have compatibility records. Sheet only: Creality doesn’t list a magnetic base. Creality sells a separate Ender soft magnetic sticker for the Ender-3. Creality's VIP Mall title gives 235*235*1.2mm, and its image text says '1.2mm Thickness Flexible Steel Plate'. VIP Mall also says: 'To be compatible with Ender-3 S1/Ender-3 S1 Pro, please remove the two positioning screws on the hotbed first.'
Strengths
  • Manufacturer states the double-sided sheet gives two printing experiences: smooth PEI for a flat bottom, textured for adhesion without warping.
  • Manufacturer describes the sheet as thin and light with easy model removal.
  • Manufacturer names the original Ender-3 in its application list.
Limitations
  • Sheet only: you need a magnetic base on the bed, which Creality sells separately.
  • Creality’s page gives no temperature limits or material list for this sheet.

BIQU CryoGrip Pro Glacier (Ender-3 size)

BIQU names the Ender 3 and the Ender 3 V2 for this size option, which it labels 220 × 220 mm (print area, per the BIGTREETECH wiki), and the BIGTREETECH wiki also lists the Ender V2 for this size. The Amazon title gives 235 × 235 mm and also names the Ender-3 V3, which BIQU doesn't, so we make no V3 claim. Glacier brings BIQU's lower bed temperatures to an older printer: the BIGTREETECH wiki says PLA adheres at 45 °C and PETG at 60 °C. BIQU's Bambu-size listing advises against heavy silk PLA use on Glacier, but its Ender-size listing doesn't repeat that note. It suits original Ender-3 or Ender-3 V2 owners who want a modern low-temperature plate.

BIQU labels this size option "220mm*220mm (For Adventurer 5M/Ender 3/V2/Pro/Ender 3S/CR20/Ender 5/Sovol SV05)" as Print Size; BIQU's product image for this option marks the sheet 235 mm × 235 mm. BIQU doesn’t say whether a magnetic base is included; the plate is magnetic spring steel and needs a magnetic bed surface. BIQU also names the Ender 3 V2 (which has a compatibility record), Ender 3 Pro, Ender 3S, CR20, Ender 5, Adventurer 5M and Sovol SV05; those others are not in the printers list.
Strengths
  • BIGTREETECH Wiki states PLA adheres at 45 °C and PETG at 60 °C on Glacier, lower than typical PEI settings.
  • Manufacturer lists a broad material range for Glacier, including ASA, PA, PC and glass-fiber composites.
  • Manufacturer states no glue or additional adhesives are needed for most prints.
Limitations
  • BIQU doesn’t state that a magnetic base is included, so check your Ender-3 has a magnetic bed surface.
  • BIQU's Bambu-size Glacier listing (not this Ender-size listing) advises against heavy silk PLA use.

For Creality Ender-3 V3, V3 SE, V3 KE, K1, and K1C

Creality names the Ender-3 V3, V3 SE, V3 KE, and K1 for both of these 235 mm plates. Its epoxy plate list also names the K1C and the Ender-3 S1, so those two printers have records for the epoxy plate only. Both pages also name models we hold no record for, such as the K1 SE, Ender-3 S1 Pro, and Ender-5 S1: named by the maker, no fit claim from us. The epoxy plate's list also names the K1 Max, but the K1 Max uses Creality's 310 × 315 mm plates, so we don't rely on that entry and make no K1 Max claim for this 235 mm plate. Neither store page clearly says whether a magnetic base is included, so check that your bed already has a working one.

Creality K1/Ender-3 V3 SE Smooth PEI Build Plate (235 × 235 mm)

Creality's store describes the surface as smooth PEI, which suits owners who want glossy, flat PLA bottoms. The 235 × 235 mm size comes from the Amazon listing, because Creality's page states no dimensions. Contents are the other caveat. Creality's store collection calls it a "Smooth PEI Build Plate Kit", but the Creality-brand Amazon listing says spring steel sheet only, with no magnetic base. Read the listing contents before you order. The page also contradicts itself on fit: its subtitle names the K1 and Ender-3 V3 models, while its description names the K1, Ender-3 S1, S1 Pro, and Ender-5 S1. Only the K1 appears in both, so we make no Ender-3 S1 claim for this plate.

The page description instead says 'Compatible with: K1, Ender-3 S1, Ender-3 S1 Pro, Ender-5 S1'. Because the page contradicts itself on the other models, only the K1 (named in both) gets a new record; no Ender-3 S1 record is made. Creality's store collection lists it as 'Smooth PEI Build Plate Kit', but the Amazon listing (Creality brand) says spring steel only, no magnetic base. Confirm contents on the listing. Creality's store page states no dimensions. The Amazon listing gives 235 × 235 mm; unconfirmed by the manufacturer page, so plateDimensionsMm is left out.
Strengths

  • Manufacturer describes the surface as smooth PEI.
Limitations
  • Creality's store page publishes no bed temperatures, material list or care guidance.

Creality Epoxy Resin Build Plate (235 × 235 mm)

Creality offers this epoxy-coated plate as an official alternative to PEI, and states the 235 × 235 mm size on its own page. That makes it the better-documented of the two on fit. On use, though, it's the weaker of the two: Creality's page gives no material, temperature, or care guidance for the epoxy surface. The double-sided coating, the 220 × 220 mm print area, and the magnetic attachment come only from the Amazon listing.

The K1, K1C and Ender-3 S1 have compatibility records; the others are not in the printers list. The K1 Max listing is odd for a 235 mm plate (the K1 Max uses Creality's 310 × 315 mm plates) and is not relied on here, so no K1 Max record is made. The Amazon listing (Creality brand) says both sides carry the same epoxy coating, gives 235 × 235 × 0.3 mm with a 220 × 220 mm print area, and describes magnetic attachment; Creality's store page doesn't state these, so they are unconfirmed. The Amazon title also lists Ender 3 V2, which Creality's store page does not.
Strengths
  • Manufacturer lists the Ender-3 V3, Ender-3 V3 SE and Ender-3 V3 KE by name as compatible.
  • Manufacturer states the plate size as 235 × 235 mm, matching those printers' stock plate size.
  • Manufacturer offers it as an official replacement surface in its own build-plate range.

For Creality Ender-3 V3 Plus and K1 Max

All three plates are sold for the K1 Max and the Ender-3 V3 Plus, and our records cover both printers for each one. The Creality-brand Amazon listings for all three say spring steel only with no magnetic base, so they rely on the printer's existing base.

Creality K1 Max/Ender-3 V3 Plus PEI Build Plate (textured)

Creality's store names the K1 Max and Ender-3 V3 Plus as compatible and sells this as an official PEI replacement plate. That makes it the obvious choice if you're replacing a worn stock PEI plate. Creality's store description gives 'Size: 315*310mm' (axis order not stated). Product photos show the plate marked 'Please apply glue before print'. The Amazon listing (Creality brand) says spring steel only, no magnetic base; Creality's page doesn't state box contents.
Strengths
  • Manufacturer names the Ender-3 V3 Plus in the product title.
  • Manufacturer describes the surface as smooth PEI, for a flat bottom finish.
Limitations
  • Creality marks the plate 'Please apply glue before print', so plan on a glue stick.
  • Creality's store page publishes no bed temperatures, material list or care guidance.

Creality K1 Max/Ender-3 V3 Plus Epoxy Resin Build Plate (310 × 315 mm)

Creality names the K1 Max and Ender-3 V3 Plus and states the 310 × 315 mm size on its own page. It suits V3 Plus or K1 Max owners who want an official spare or an alternative to the stock PEI. As with the 235 mm epoxy plate, Creality's page gives no material, temperature, or care guidance. Text in Creality's product images describes a "Double-sided High Quality Epoxy Resin Particle Coating."

For Prusa MK4S, MK4, CORE One, and MK3S

BIQU sells one size for the Prusa MK4, MK4S, MK3, MK3S, CORE One, and CORE One+, labeled 250 × 210 mm (print area, per the BIGTREETECH wiki). The Amazon titles give 254.5 × 241.5 mm. Our records cover the MK4S, MK4, and CORE One for both plates below, and the MK3S for the Glacier plate only. Neither BIQU nor the BIGTREETECH wiki names the MK3S+, so our MK3S record doesn't cover it. The MK3 and CORE One+ are named by the maker, with no fit claim from us. BIQU doesn't name the CORE One L, XL, or MINI for this size.

BIQU CryoGrip Pro Glacier (MK4S/CORE One size)

Glacier is the general-purpose choice. The BIGTREETECH wiki lists PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PA, PC, nylon, and glass-fiber composites, with PLA adhering at 45 °C and PETG at 60 °C. BIQU says the honeycomb handle stays cool at a 100 °C bed temperature. As with every Glacier plate, BIQU advises against heavy silk PLA use, and BIGTREETECH says the coating can scratch from scraper use. It suits MK4S, MK4, CORE One, or MK3S owners who want a lower-temperature, fine-texture alternative to Prusa's own sheets.

BIQU

BIQU CryoGrip Pro Glacier Build Plate (Glacier (fine texture), size for Prusa MK4/MK4S/MK3/MK3S/CORE One/CORE One+ (BIQU SKU 1060000759))

Best for
Prusa MK4S or CORE One owners who want a lower-temperature, fine-texture sheet that covers most filaments.

Does not fit
BIQU does not name the CORE One L, XL or MINI for this size.
Maker notes
Surface: double-sided, 7-layer composite coating on high-magnetic spring steel; Glacier is the fine-texture version (BIQU). BIGTREETECH Wiki lists Glacier for PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PA, PC, nylon and glass-fiber composites. Cleaning: alcohol or soapy water (BIGTREETECH Wiki). BIQU labels this size option "250mm*210mm (For PRUSA MK4/MK4S/MK3/MK3S/CORE One/CORE One+)"; the BIGTREETECH Wiki lists these figures as print area, not sheet size, so no plate dimensions are recorded. The Amazon title gives 254.5 × 241.5 mm. BIQU also names the MK4 and MK3S (both have compatibility records; the MK3S record does not cover the MK3S+, which BIQU doesn't name), and the MK3 and CORE One+. The MK3 is not in the printers list.
Limitations
  • BIQU's Bambu-size Glacier listing advises against heavy silk PLA use; this plate's own listing doesn't repeat it.
  • BIGTREETECH Wiki says the coating is softer than textured PEI and can scratch from scraper use.

BIQU CryoGrip Pro Frostbite, matte orange (MK4S/CORE One size)

This is the coarse-texture Frostbite in matte orange. The BIGTREETECH wiki says PLA adheres at 30 °C and PETG at 50 °C, but that Frostbite is meant only for PLA, PETG, and ABS, and gives soapy water as its cleaning method. There's a CORE One caveat. BIGTREETECH reports nozzle-cleaning failures with the orange Frostbite plate on the CORE One, and BIQU publishes replacement PrusaSlicer start G-code that lowers the bed and nozzle temperatures during preparation. It suits MK4S, MK4, or CORE One owners printing mostly PLA and PETG.

BIGTREETECH Wiki: not intended for materials other than PLA, PETG and ABS.; BIQU does not name the CORE One L for this size.
The BIGTREETECH Wiki lists the matte orange Frostbite for Prusa MK4 and XL among others. BIQU's size option also names the MK3/MK3S, but the BIGTREETECH Wiki says matte orange Frostbite is designed for the Bambu Lab P/X/A series, A1 mini, Prusa XL and Prusa MK4, so no MK3S record is made for this color.
Strengths
  • BIGTREETECH Wiki states PLA adheres at 30 °C and PETG at 50 °C on Frostbite.
  • Manufacturer states the coarse texture leaves a more defined textured bottom finish than Glacier.
  • BIGTREETECH Wiki says most residue can be removed with alcohol or soapy water.
Limitations
  • On the CORE One, BIQU says you may need its custom start G-code to avoid nozzle-cleaning failures.
  • Frostbite is for PLA, PETG and ABS only, per the BIGTREETECH Wiki.
  • BIGTREETECH Wiki says the coating is softer than textured PEI and can scratch from scraper use.

For Prusa XL

BIQU CryoGrip Pro Frostbite, matte orange (XL size)

BIQU sells only Frostbite, not Glacier, in its Prusa XL size, labeled 360 × 360 mm (print area, per the BIGTREETECH wiki). The Amazon title gives 365 × 380.75 mm. BIGTREETECH reports leveling failures with the orange Frostbite plate on the XL. BIQU's fix is to set the bed to 30 °C and the nozzle to 70 °C during leveling, either by hand or with its modified start G-code. The usual Frostbite limits apply too: PLA, PETG, and ABS only, and soapy water for cleaning. It suits XL owners printing large PLA or PETG parts who want very low bed temperatures.

For Prusa MINI / MINI+

Prusa MINI Smooth PEI Print Sheet

Prusa lists the MINI and MINI+ for this spring steel sheet, with a PEI-Ultem sheet on each side. Prusa says it's excellent for PLA and works well with most materials. It's the straightforward spare or replacement for either printer. The same smooth-PEI caveats apply as on Prusa's larger sheets: glue stick for flexible filament, and a possible release agent for PETG. Prusa also notes that tiny dots may appear on the PEI-Ultem surface, which it says are cosmetic and don't affect function.

Surface: two PEI-Ultem sheets pre-mounted on each side of the spring steel sheet (Prusa). Prusa lists compatibility with MINI and MINI+. Prusa: do not clean with IPA before printing PETG (a release agent may be needed); apply glue stick for flexible filament. Prusa does not publish sheet dimensions on the product page, so none are recorded. The Amazon listing reports model 4755-024504.
Strengths
  • Manufacturer states the sheet is excellent for PLA and works well with most materials.
  • Manufacturer states the sheet is double-sided, with PEI-Ultem on both faces.
  • Manufacturer lists both MINI and MINI+ as compatible.
Limitations
  • Prusa says flexible filament needs glue stick, and PETG may need a release agent.
  • Prusa notes tiny dots may appear on the PEI-Ultem surface (cosmetic, no effect on function).
  • Prusa treats print sheets as consumables: wear and cosmetic damage are not covered by warranty.

What should you check before buying a build plate?

  • Confirm the exact model and revision. An Ender-3 V3 and an Ender-3 V3 Plus take different plate sizes, as do a K1 and a K1 Max. Our Prusa MK3S record covers the MK3S, not the MK3S+. BIQU sells different sizes for the Prusa MK4S/CORE One and the XL. Check the label on your printer or your maker's identification page, which our printers index links to.
  • Fit is listed only where the manufacturer documents it. If your printer isn't named for a plate on this page, treat fit as unknown and ask the plate maker. Amazon titles sometimes name more printers than the maker does.
  • Plate detection and printer prompts. BIGTREETECH says CryoGrip plates don't yet support automatic build plate detection on the P2S or H2-series printers, including the H2S and H2C, and it doesn't list the X1E for plate detection either, so you may need to turn detection off. On the Prusa CORE One and XL, BIQU publishes start G-code or leveling-temperature changes for the orange Frostbite plate.
  • Sheet only, or sheet and magnetic base? Several Creality listings say spring steel only, and neither the Creality double-sided sheet nor the BIQU Ender-3 plate lists a base. Check that your printer's magnetic base is in good condition, and read the listing contents.
  • Size and alignment. Match the plate maker's stated size to your bed. BIQU sells separate sizes for different Bambu Lab and Prusa printers, labels them by print area, and the Amazon figures can differ.
  • Surface vs your materials. BIQU's Frostbite is meant only for PLA, PETG, and ABS. Check the plate maker's guidance for PETG, flexible filaments, and silk PLA, and your filament maker's recommended bed temperature.
  • Cleaning chemicals. Prusa warns against acetone on powder-coated sheets and against IPA before PETG on smooth PEI, and BIGTREETECH says to clean Frostbite with soapy water. Use your plate maker's method, not a generic one.

Alternatives, and when you don't need to buy anything

  • Adhesion trouble usually isn't the plate. Z offset, bed cleanliness, bed temperature, and material settings are common causes of first-layer problems. Start with first-layer adhesion, and see warping if corners lift on larger parts.
  • A dirty plate isn't a worn plate. BIQU says its coating can be restored by wiping, and Prusa publishes cleaning instructions for its sheets. Try your maker's cleaning method before replacing a sheet. Our how to clean a build plate guide collects each maker's method.
  • Not sure which surface you want? Read our textured vs smooth build surfaces guide, and see PLA vs PETG if material choice is the real question.
  • Your printer isn't covered here. The Build plates: what to check before you buy ↗ has more background, and your printer maker's parts list is the safest source.

How this page was checked

This is a research-based shortlist. We have not printed on these plates for this page, so there are no adhesion tests, scores, or "we found" claims here. Every fit claim, size, bed temperature, and care instruction above comes from the manufacturer pages listed in the sources section, plus the product pages linked from each catalog record, retrieved on 2026-10-06. The BIQU, BIGTREETECH, and Creality pages for the plates added in October 2026 were checked again on 2026-10-07, and the fit records for the X1E, H2S, H2C, Ender-3 V2, Ender-3 S1, K1, K1C, K1 Max, MK4, and MK3S were added from those pages on the same date. BIQU's CORE One and XL instructions for the orange Frostbite plate are linked from the BIGTREETECH wiki. Where only the Amazon listing gives a detail, such as several Creality plate sizes and contents, we say so. Makers revise plates and change compatibility lists, so check the current page for your exact plate before you order. Read more about our process in our editorial standards and affiliate disclosure.
